Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

Car seat buggy 2 in 1 blends the two most important baby equipment pieces including the infant car seat and the stroller. It makes it much easier to take public transport (and walk up and down the stairs).

One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the only fully integrated travel system in the world that lets you switch from the car seat to the stroller without disturbing your baby.

Simple to Use

Parents should have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These travel systems make it easy to switch between running errands or walking the dog, or going for an exercise. They also aid in keeping up with your child's changing needs, so you can focus on enjoying your family adventures. Our testers are impressed by how easily and smoothly these travel systems glide, whether they have only one front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are all easy to move. However, the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be pushed by one hand.

Certain models are difficult to attach or remove from the base, but. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attachment process and straps that go over the infant carrier's bottom part. It is tempting to bypass these steps, but this could lead to unsafe outcomes.

Some models are also more difficult to fold or store than others, which makes them less convenient. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold because of its massive dimensions and bulky frames. Some testers are also disappointed by the canopy of this model to be unsatisfactory. However, the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is very simple to fold with just pulling a lever and a snap of a button. It is also a great choice for parents who intend to use their car seat on vehicles of other people as it can be quickly detached from the base and attached to any standard stroller.

Easy to Fold

It should be easy to fold and unfold the car seat, regardless of whether you're storing it inside your trunk, or in the closet. The best combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are strong enough to withstand long walks. They're also simple to move, sliding effortlessly over uneven surfaces and bumps. We've seen a few combinations that can only be joined or detached using straps, which can be a hassle and make it difficult for parents to secure the car seat properly.

The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent choice due to its robust construction and convenient features, including a large storage bin that is accessible from either the front or back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to ensure a secure car seat installation by connecting the lower anchors, pulling the straps tight and clicking the carrier into the base.

It's also fairly light which makes it a great option for families and frequent travelers with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo, and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored high in our ease of use tests. Both have a single wheel that is simple to push with one hand. Both have a single front wheel which is easy to push (one-handed!). They also have a movable swivel wheel, perfect for shopping and running errands. The only downside is that they're heavy and it can be tricky to lift them up when you're carrying a child in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combinations are difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to build, and it even comes with a quick-start guide that makes putting this system together easy. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also fairly easy to put together. Contrary to that the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to assemble because it requires two steps to assemble - connecting the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to click the carrier in the base, and then remove it.

In pram pushchair 2 in 1 took about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together. This is quite rapid when you consider the time is saved by not having to take out all of the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and removed with ease on most of these models.
