Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule<br /><br />The official list below shows reserved time periods, not exams that have been confirmed. Please confirm with your instructor if the course will have its final exam during this period.<br /><br />Be sure to read all the Goethe exam guidelines on each exam's webpage prior to registering. Be sure to sign up for the right exam level.<br /><br />Locations<br /><br />The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Please consult individual exam pages for additional guidelines, terms and conditions and exam content. The Registrar's Office also has a list with exam times for the classes that must have an exam by NYSED regulations. For evening classes, final exams are scheduled at the regular class meeting time during the final week of the exam.<br /><br />Please take note that the Projected University Examination Schedule is only a guideline and that the dates for the final exam are subject to change.<br /><br />Registration<br /><br />The exam schedule is accessible online and students are advised to look it up. However it is important to note that the final exam schedule could alter at any moment. For this reason, students should consult their instructors to ensure that they have the correct date and time for their test. Students should be sure to print the official list and bring it to their exam.<br /><br />In addition to the exam schedule, students must familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines and conditions and terms. These are accessible on the exam's individual page. Upon registration, students acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.<br /><br /><br /><br />Exam locations try their best to accommodate those who have special requirements. The nature and severity of these requirements must be declared on the registration form and confirmed by an attestation from a doctor. The locations of the exam must be able to respect confidentiality and keep it.<br /><br />If a student is scheduled to take three exams on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department to schedule a make-up test. It is possible to take three examinations on the same day. However, this can lead to a high level of stress and impact the quality of the exam. In addition, the professor might not be able give a makeup exam on a different day.<br /><br />Before taking the test Students must prepare for the exam by studying the course material and practicing their German skills. The exam is a paper-based test that tests your ability to read, speak, and write German. The results of the exam are reported on a scale of A1 to C2. Students who pass the test receive the Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies the achievement of language level A1. Those who do not have an acceptable photo ID will be disqualified from the exam.<br /><br />Fees<br /><br />If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to obtain a Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you must pay the examination fee. This fee is in addition the course fee.<br /><br />Practice assessments give you an overview of the format of the questions, their wording and the level of questions on the exam. They let you assess your knowledge level, find areas of knowledge that aren't covered and increase your chances of passing the exam.<br /><br />Please be aware that the exam fee is non-refundable. Examination results can only be accessed via email and not by telephone.<br /><br />
