Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with a specialized application. You can save your home's maps and create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water your mop uses.

robotic hoovers mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over wires, furniture or other toys. These features are essential in my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is packed with features. It can mop and sweep in a single session and even lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from getting too damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in deep cleaning. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it goes from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being that it's pricey. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can justify the price we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by the robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. In addition, its mops aren't as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked in by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, just like the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum but it does have some impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a neat way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its less expensive competitors.
