Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or greater can be upgraded with upgrade components incorporated into them. The addition of an upgrade to an existing weapon equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade will display the name of the upgraded item in the same way as it appears in the game (for example adding a Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be named Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at any one time.<br /><br />Glyphs<br /><br />Glyphs can be an excellent addition to any item. They provide unique benefits and boosts. Some Glyphs can also increase the number of affixes on an item, increasing its overall power. These glyphs are obtained by completing Dungeons. Some are even found in certain World Tier 3 zones. It is important to note that glyphs can only be used by players who have created a root-dungeon of the same depth.<br /><br /><br /><br />To make use of a Glyph you first have to create it using components, and then connect them via anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph using components, you can make use of an array of anchors and paths. Adding these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.<br /><br />The most common glyphs in the game are the attack glyphs which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. These glyphs are especially useful for classes that employ ranged weapons, such as Warriors or Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph, which makes enemies that hit the Hero vulnerable to being damaged.<br /><br />Reroll tokens<br /><br />Reroll tokens are tokens that can be used to roll back one of the results when performing an Action. After the reroll is completed the tokens are then discarded. Reroll tokens can be obtained in several ways, including through raids, dungeons, and skirmishes. They can also be purchased at the shop or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, since they allow players to roll the rewards from the end chest.<br /><br />For items that are at level 1 there are values for recycling points. If an item is recycled it will add a certain number of points to the gauge of upgrade. This number will increase depending on the item's value and rarity. The upgraded item also will not be able to keep its level when it is rerolled, and the cost of recycling an upgraded item rises as its level rises.<br /><br />It is also possible to use reroll tokens to roll an item.
