World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrading of your equipment is a vital aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as the enchantments of items.

They also provide bonuses and improvements. They can be acquired from the Blacksmith.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

If a weapon is upgraded, it gets an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects, while others offer additional features. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools, and most require the equipment to have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor or trinket, but it will not be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be found using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool for an item.

In addition to the standard upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded with an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier the process can be repeated up to four times.

Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged with a number of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. These upgrades can be applied at once and the effects depend on how rare the weapon is.

Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the damage a weapon can cause.

In general, it is recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon prior to any other gear, as this can increase DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that can be extremely effective in boosting a weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

Item Upgrades allow players to increase the effectiveness of specific weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.

The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases the armor will be upgraded to next level after an upgrade is applied. This can be done for any type of armor, though some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).

The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's defense or strength by only a tiny amount. Certain upgrade components, however, could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is especially relevant when upgrading epic items.

In addition to increasing the defense of an item, certain upgrades also provide special abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, such as giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have effect that are passive and can be useful, such as reducing damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item may require multiple tries. For instance the case of a player wanting to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt would result in an Dragonscale armor that has the base defense of between 67 and 77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations holds an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not useless. Some armors offer a significant boost in the reduction of the damage caused by poison spells, curses, magic or fire. This makes them very valuable for certain builds. There are other ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration or the challenger trait to lower total weight.

Potion

By placing a potion on the brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different level of effects from the potion and can be repeated for more potencies.

The potions also get the ability to select a custom color that can be selected by the player using /give. The color affects the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the effects of the potion's particle effects.

The water bottle, a common potions that are thick and awkward now have a new texture of brewing. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion to the Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be made by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Bug Tracker is the place to report any issues related to this patch.

Trinket

A trinket can be described as a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag to mark a boat's yard that is lateen. It can also refer to a gilded trinket on the mast of a vessel.

This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the denizens of this maze, making them more common. This trinket at present, makes all types of replicas more popular and gives each floor an A% chance that it has an ebony-colored replica. Upgrades to this trinket require a small amount of energy.

The magic of this enchanted scepter seems to be affecting the dungeon itself and making it more likely to generate water and grass. At its current level this trinket will make X% of regular floors become filled with grass or water, however it won't affect enchantments or the glyphs, cursed weapons, armor, or items generated to solve hazard rooms.

This item, which appears like a newt's eyes is believed to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond merely reducing your field-of-view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking healing potions and wells of life by X%, and also gives mind sight to enemies within Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.

After you have completed the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place item upgrades in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket which is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reorge the trinket as often as you like, but it will always have an effect that is new.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
