Why Buy a 3 Wheeler Buggy?

If you enjoy an early morning run, the three-wheeled buggy could be the best option for you. They are equipped with larger wheels, which give a smoother ride, however, they are heavier to store and require a larger car boot.

Those wanting to use their pushchair for outdoor walks should consider models with air-filled tyres (also called pneumatic) They are able to handle on uneven ground and have a swivelling front wheel that can be locked to provide greater stability.

What is a three-wheeler buggy?

If you're off road or around town, a 3-wheel buggy offers superior maneuverability. They turn on a dime and are light in handling and have passed the stringent tests for stability. A fabric sling seat is comfortably inside the frame instead of sitting being placed on top of it as modular seats - this design provides a lower centre of gravity for easier pushing and less slams on curbs (you don't need to put the same amount of weight or effort into launching your buggy off the curb). Mountain Buggy(r) is the first of its kind: sport verso(tm) which is a 3-wheeled inline chassis. It can be used as a baby carrier with a parent's view or a toddler ride-on board.

Are you planning to take a trip off road?

If you want to go on adventures and venture off the beaten track, it's important that your buggy is able to be able to handle rough terrain. You'll need a reliable suspension system to absorb bumps, and large wheels with tyres filled with air to offer great grip on difficult surfaces. A lockable wheel on the front is also an excellent option for stability while jogging over rough surfaces.

MFM reviewer Kath really put this fun lovin' buggy to the test by driving it over rough grass, cobbles and dirt tracks with her newborn and 3 year old. She she stated that "it tackled everything with ease and was even pleasant to jog in with. The 16" rear wheels and lockable "swivel" front wheel offer excellent stability on off-road trails or surfaces that are uneven. The tyres are also equipped with springs built-in to ensure a smooth ride.

Sport verso is another world first. It's an amazing single buggy, however it is easily adapted to accommodate two (or more!) When your family grows, you'll be able to use the same buggy. The seats made of fabric are set snugly inside the frame at the ideal height to distribute weight evenly. This enables more ease of pushing and a less hefty curb-pop.

Do you want to go 'around town Are you looking to explore the city

A 3 wheel buggy will have one wheel in front and two wheels in the back and, depending on the model, the wheel will be swivel freely or locked in place to ensure that the buggy travels in straight lines. They are easy to drive and maneuver, and often have air-filled tyres and suspension to provide a comfortable ride. As a result, they are great for everyday use around town and are usually capable of handling kerb popping as well as being capable of driving off road as well.

However, just like any buggy, it's important to drive them responsibly and not get distracted by tablets, mobile phones or any other gadget. Avoid driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol as it could affect your judgment and reaction time. If you do have an auto boot to store your buggy, be sure to verify the size of its footprint when fully folded to ensure that it can fit in your vehicle.

If you're seeking a buggy to transport you from the park to the shops, then you should choose one with a big shopping basket, a strong brake pedal, and a large sun canopy (50plus inches in diameter) with an extendable pole. MFM reviewer Kath particularly liked the sling seat in fabric, which features an automatic lie-flat baby bed, and found the seat to be placed perfectly within the frame for good weight distribution - but she also noted that the triangular shape of the frame has half the storage capacity of the four wheeler.

Do 3 wheeled pushchair want to take a trip 'in the park'?

With the incredible maneuverability this fun-loving 3-wheeler offers, it is perfect for urban adventures too. MFM reviewer Kath tested it and found that it could navigate grass, bumpy sidewalks and cobbles effortlessly. It was also able to navigate the city's kerbs as the fabric seat sling is positioned snugly within the frame at a perfect height to distribute weight.

This buggy is great for jogging, since it is equipped with lockable swivel front wheels and comes with a "snug & stretch' tyre which gives an extremely smooth ride while you are pounding the streets. The only downside to the large wheels is that it may be difficult to fit into more compact spaces when folded. Luckily, it comes with impressive storage features to make up for this! - including a huge basket and a zippered rear pocket.
