French Door Fridge With Ice Maker

French door refrigerators are designed to sit flush against the counters in your kitchen. This gives them a sleek, attractive appearance. This sleek design makes space for freezers.

Hernandez advises that you should check the exact dimensions before purchasing to ensure that it's appropriate for your home. You'll want to make sure there's enough room for air circulation on all sides, and that the doors open completely without hitting cabinets or obstructing the hallway.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Bosch is a premium brand that is known for its top-of-the-line refrigerators. Their counter-depth French door models sit flush with your counters for a built-in design. The refrigerators are energy quiet and efficient. They also come with a smart-home feature which lets you control them with your phone or tablet. The fridge is large enough to hold space for leftovers and food items. This model has an automatic ice maker. It makes fresh and filtered ice. It's simple to use too. The ice and water dispensers are located inside the fridge instead of being on the front, which means they don't obstruct the sleek look of the exterior. The dispensers work with any cold beverage, including sports drinks and juice. This refrigerator is robust stainless steel finish that withstands scratches and dents. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're concerned about smudges on your surfaces, you can use an item that cleans fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

The refrigerator offers 20.5 cubic feet of interior space. It comes with Bosch's patented FarmFresh system with four state-of-the-art freshness technologies to keep fruits, vegetables and leftovers in good condition for up to three times longer than normal. Its freezer temperatures are also near-perfect, with a range of less than a fraction a degree away from ideal.

The Bosch refrigerator costs more than the GE Appliances version, but it comes with more features. It's worth the extra expense. It has a door-indoor storage area where you can store a small amount of food in a bin that can fit right in the fridge door, and it features a drawer that converts to five temperature settings that can accommodate different types of beverages food items, snacks, meat and wine. The Bosch refrigerator comes with a smart home feature called Home Connect which lets you control it remotely with your smartphone or tablet.

The only downsides of this refrigerator are its flimsy main drawer and the difficult-to-use main door latch to the right. The refrigerator is nevertheless ideal for single households and kitchenettes that require more storage space than a typical French-door refrigerator. And the stainless steel is a gorgeous addition to any kitchen.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

LG counter-depth refrigerators have a lot of storage into a small footprint. They're also priced less than conventional-depth French door fridges and can eliminate the need for a separate smaller under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView Counter-Depth Refrigerator (LMWC23626S) that offers the capacity of a standard refrigerator in modern and sleek design, is no exception. It also features an internal dispenser that allows for easy access to drinking water.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins are spacious, and the top right shelf can be folded down to create a a half-depth shelf that allows larger items to fit. The bottom of the fridge includes a set of crisper drawers, and the deli drawer with its full width is ideal for meat or fresh produce.

The refrigerator features a recessible freezer on the back wall. This reduces space and allows you to store more ice bags. The refrigerator has door-cooling technology, which uses vents in the doors of the fridge and freezer to let cold air enter the refrigerator. It helps to prevent hot spots and keeps temperatures more uniform throughout the refrigerator.

This LG refrigerator was a standout in our tests and has plenty of capacity to keep a family well-fed however, it has a few quirks that we found annoying. First the freezer drawers don't stay at the temperature we'd like. The temperature of the middle drawer was 41° during our peak use test, which is the temperature needed to freeze ice cream and other frozen food items. The temperature in the rest of your freezer was at about 36 degrees.

The doors of the refrigerator also have handles that are sunken and are difficult for shorter people to close. This may seem insignificant however, we prefer front mounted handles on refrigerators to make them easier to open and close.

The fridge is costly, but worth it for anyone who wants an elegant appearance in their kitchen. We recommend this refrigerator for those who want to upgrade their existing fridge or are building a new home and want a more integrated style for their kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Samsung's newest counter-depth French-door fridge called the RF23M8090SG is priced at $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performed well in our cooling test, however we aren't fans of the gimmicky handles or fragile crisper bins.

One thing that distinguishes the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line that lets you personalize your fridge using removable color panels that can be swapped whenever you get tired of the ones you have currently. There are 11 color options including soft pastels, bolder hues and four metallic finishes. These panels can be customized to include text or photos. This will make the fridge more personal and can be matched to your Rick Owens dress, Andy Warhol banana neon or tie-dye Crocs.

The LED lighting can be switched to a different hue, which is a nice option. And the refrigerator's interior has a smart finish that reduces smudges and makes cleaning much easier. The only negatives to the RF23M8090SG are its somewhat cramped beverage center and a bit of a learning curve when it comes to opening the door-indoor feature that houses a water jug and a dispenser. You need to feel for the lever that is located under midway down the door. Once you find it, the second door opens up within the fridge, containing the docking station for the pitcher and the water dispenser.

The 6.8 cubic foot freezer compartment is big enough to hold a large amount of frozen food. french door fridge freezer features the slide-out drawer, which lets you access the food you want without having to open the entire compartment. There's also a butter-bin-style storage compartment inside the freezer that allows for simple storage of small items, as well as a large capacity drawer that stores bulkier frozen items. This drawer can be locked with the use of a password to keep out unwanted guests and also has a handy LED light to let you see the contents at a glance. The freezer can also keep track of the energy consumption and help you lower your power bills by with the SmartThings Energy Mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators are an excellent addition to any kitchen. They are sleek and are a great fit for all sizes of rooms. If you want the convenience of this design without the height, a counter-depth fridge is the best choice. We've tested a lot of models, and this Frigidaire model has earned a high score in our rating system for its reasonable price and thoughtful features, such as an adjustable temperature drawer.

It also has a few annoying problems. Our tests show that the FGHB2866PF can heat up quite significantly in the freezer, and can become uncomfortable hot in the hottest shelves of the refrigerator. Our heat maps show how the temperature fluctuates minute by minute. The orange region in the upper right, which represents the butter bin, is particularly warm throughout our testing period. It may not appear to be a problem at first however, the fridge spends most of the time above 32 degrees.

It's worth noting that this model is not Energy Star certified, which could be important for certain buyers. However, the main issue is that it's just not a particularly great fridge, and the lack of top-of-the-line features and a sturdy construction makes it difficult to recommend over better options at this price point.

This Frigidaire refrigerator is similar to the stainless steel version that you may see in the local store for appliances. It's a great option with a brushed finish that looks great and is resistant to smudges. However it's not able to distinguish itself from its competitors which are more feature-rich and cost less.

If you're looking for a counter-depth french-door fridge, but don't want spend much, the FGHC2331PF might be worth considering. It's got enough storage for the majority of families, and is able to keep food fresh. Even if it's not an energy-efficient unit, it's a lot cheaper than our top-rated models.
