The Band Toto Asia

Toto was expanding its production facilities overseas, and was doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as an area of growth for Washlet toilets and bidet seats, as opposed its "base" markets in Japan and China.

Dhaniram Toto documented Toto words so that the next generation could understand them. However, many words were being replaced with foreign ones, like dui, which is Bengali for verandah.

Origins

Toto's early history which began in 1917, was a reflection of Japan's economic expansion. In the beginning, Toto made goods to meet the demand for modern, new urban housing. It was the first tunnel kiln in the country to continuously produce ceramics. It also pioneered automation for production control, which helps to increase efficiency and consistency.

The company began expanding internationally in the late 1980s to take advantage of new markets and sales opportunities. It launched the Cera Trading Company, importing and marketing other products of manufacturers to complement its own range of sanitary earthenware and plumbing fittings. 메이저사이트 추천 helped increase sales and increased the company's global market share.

In the 90s, Toto began to focus on research and development of water-related appliances. It also improved its distribution system to better meet the needs of customers and boost profits. The company also employed the just-in time approach in its supply chain management and sales program. This resulted in a higher level of customer satisfaction.

Toto continued to develop toilet technology. The most recent toilet features an environmentally friendly, powerful tornado flush. The company also makes use of recycled water in its manufacturing process and has a green purchasing policy. Toto also produces faucets, bathtubs and hand dryers with greater energy efficiency than conventional models.

The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It hosts exhibits on the most iconic products of Toto, their evolution, the group companies (all of which are made of ceramics) and the history of plumbing and products such as bath units. In a separate gallery you can view Toto products that are sold throughout. The museum even has a bathroom that features the WASHLET toilet, as well as other toilet-related innovations.

Before forming Toto the band, members of the band did sessions for various musicians. Boz Scaggs' album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich as well as guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather, drummers Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.

Discography

With a name like Asia, you would think that the group would be prog queens and kings but they're actually a pretty straight forward rock group. The group was formed as a four-piece and released two albums: 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. But even though the band have a variety of musical backgrounds their biggest hit was achieved in 1982 with Toto IV.

The album was a massive blockbuster, but not without difficulties. Record companies put the band on position with the order "give us an album that is a success or we'll drop you" and the pressure was on them to deliver. Luckily for Toto they delivered and they did it with the assistance of the smash single "Africa."

Toto's musical mastery is a result of their previous experience. Before forming the group, the members were session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their sonic trademark has become the standard of '80s music, influencing many contemporary artists.

The album opens up hard with songs like Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to create great AOR tunes that slowly get into your head. The album also includes some jazzier, slower tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album ends with Great Expectations. This song blends folk and distorted AOR that could appear completely unnatural, but actually is very effective.

After Toto IV the band's fortunes started to plummet. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career, and the band had to go through various drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the band after drug charges. The band continued with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.

Despite the chaos, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation however, which was not as successful as IV. However, the band still managed to release another chart-topping album in 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the end of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new singer.

Tours

The band has performed around the world, performing to an audience of millions, and has sold-out shows in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia and New Zealand. The repertoire of the band is extensive, and their collective catalog has amassed over billion streams on streaming services worldwide. The band's iconic music has influenced multiple generations of fans.

Steve Lukather and Joe Williams have forged a deep colorful friendship that is thriving professionally on a global scale. In 2018 the duo celebrated their 40th anniversary of Tours Around the Sun with a wildly successful tour across the globe. The album with the same title reached #5 on Billboard 200. The band's new tour features their greatest hits and rarely live cuts, as well as a selection of songs from Lukather and Williams their individual catalogs.

TOTO has a satisfaction rating of 20 Based on its Net Promoter Score which measures how likely customers are to recommend the brand. Promoters are those who give a high score to the company and encourage others to use its products and services. Detractors are those who judge the company poorly and can even actively dissuade others from using their products or services.

Join Toto to enjoy a unique cultural experience in Asia. This highlight tour of a region that the French once called Indochine provides luxurious accommodations, a day on a luxurious cruise ship in Halong Bay, and an exploration of the mysterious temples of Angkor Wat. It also includes an evening in the charming city of Luang Prabang. This UNESCO World Heritage City is a feast for the senses. 메이저사이트 추천 is a once in a lifetime excursion you should not miss!

Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an ode to the traditional sextet style and it was a more consistent, more powerful album with a sharper edge. Its more punk-rock sound reflected the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency on the drums, as well as an improved, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. Keyboardist David Paich's work also was sharper, more intricate and less cloned earlier recordings.

After touring to promote their album, the group recorded the band's Amsterdam live show that was released by Eagle Records as a 2-CD set entitled Falling In Between. A new studio album followed a few months later, and the group embarked on a world-wide tour to promote it. During this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.

In 1998, Paich & Lukather began searching through old tapes & demos to discover songs that hadn't been recorded before. It was released as a double-album titled Then and Now in 2001. It was the band's first album without the single track "A". The album also included a previously unreleased track titled "Kari-Anne".

By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial flop and the vocalist Williams was suffering from a serious laryngitis infection that limited his singing abilities. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming duties were replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.

Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the original members of Asia, met in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the band could be reformed. This lineup, with the exception of Howe (who was working with Yes at the time) was eventually referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.

In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band featured an appearance by singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
