Lightest Double Stroller

When looking for a lightweight double-stroller that folds, the size and weight are crucial factors to consider. When you are not using it, select one that is easy to handle and small in size. This will make it easier to store it in your car trunk and to navigate through airport security and foreign roads.

The best lightweight strollers have an easy, intuitive fold that lets them stand on their own. This reduces stress on the body of the parent. Many also come with a wide variety of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

The perfect product for families traveling. Compact and light weight, it has an easy fold with one hand. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seat accommodate children up to 50 lbs. Parent and child trays, large storage basket and 3-tier extended canopy with windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.

The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest scores in our tests of quality because it has a thin seat, made of hard plastic, and a style that appears outdated. It's also more expensive than other lightweight strollers. This is a bad option for those seeking an affordable option.

It's not the tiniest stroller, but it has enough features to make it worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low handle is a disadvantage but it's at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's not easy to push it while your legs are dangling like that. And the lack of padding doesn't make it any easier.

During our testing, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and open. It's a little more difficult to close the cloud, however. You have to slide a slider, and then pull a big white button to get it to collapse. It can be quite frustrating particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids while doing it.

The Cloud comes with a compact, but deep storage basket. It's big enough to fit the size of a large diaper bag. It's a bit narrow however, and you'll likely have to leave something inside for the back to take it out. The Cloud comes with a parent tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. Both are too small for larger cups or bottles.

The Kolcraft brand has been in operation since 1946, and is a third-generation, family-owned company. Their first products included diapers and crib pads, but they now manufacture a wide range of baby products like highchairs as well as strollers for infants, car seats and toys. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design, which is perfect for traveling. It's super light at just 18 pounds (lighter than some single strollers!) and folds flat for easy transport and storage. It also features independently reclining seats, large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors that have peekaboo windows and extra-large storage bags underneath the seat. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of various heights. Plus, it has one-step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.

The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and have a good neck control in order to use the front seat. It does come with a nice, three panel sun canopy, however each seat comes with its own snack tray, as well as cup holders for the parents.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is yet another extremely light stroller with a side by side. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's thin and slim (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of elegant features that make it perfect for travel. It folds easily and very easy to move around. It also is easily able to fit in the overhead compartments and the trunks of airplanes.

The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, just like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's pretty comparable to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have a few key distinctions. It's also slightly more expensive, but it also has more maneuverability and an extra sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap that can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a lightweight stroller with a lot of features. It's not just light at only 13 pounds but also comes with a ton of storage, including cupholders for both parents and children as well as a sippy-cup pouch for children and a parent's storage pouch and so on. lightweight twin buggy is also able to fit the car seat of a child and features a brake that can be used flip-flop. This stroller is designed to expand with your child. It can be converted from a baby stroller into an adult stroller by attaching car seat adapters (sold separately) and it's suitable for children 6 months and up.

This stroller has only swivel-wheels and has no locking capabilities, so it may not be the best option for steep or rocky terrain. It's still a great option for families of all sizes, since it is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces as well as smooth surfaces.

This is one of the smallest and light double strollers, with all-size features. The quick-close feature allows the stroller to fold with only one hand in a matter of seconds and is small enough to fit easily into your trunk or garage. It can also be used a stroller for travel and is compatible with most car seats without the need for adapters.

In contrast to most strollers that are lightweight, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ features two seats and can hold up to 50 lbs. per seat (100 lb total). The seats feature individual leg rests and 3-panel canopies with the ability to flip out sunvisors and a peekaboo window.

The seats are cushioned for your little one's comfort and have a 5-point padded safety harness that adjusts to three height positions. Each seat comes with an infant cushion that is ideal for infants. Parents will love the cup holders for parents and children, along with the child's cup holders, cell phone holder, as well as a large storage basket. The stroller comes with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.

Joovy Kooper X2

The Kooper X2 is an excellent option for parents looking for a lightweight double stroller that can carry two children. Its sling-style seats are comfortable and provide a similar amount of headroom, allowing kids to sit side-by-side. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it comes with a completely reclined seat, which makes it a fantastic choice for nap time. Its recline feature is easy to use, but it's not really flat. For taller children, there may be legs hanging out when in reclined positions. It also features a large canopy which we found to be better in blocking the sun than other strollers in our best double strollers review.

The stroller is light enough to be able to maneuver through door frames. This was a major issue with other strollers we tried. It folds quickly and its handlebars sit close to the ground for easy carrying. Its only drawback is its small storage space. When it is full of stuff for the kids it can feel tight.

Joovy is a family-owned company that creates original functional, durable and high-quality baby products. Their range includes unique bottles that we have reviewed in our best baby bottle review, intriguing strollers like the Joovy Zoom X2 Double and a unique rain cover that can be fitted to a variety of popular strollers. The bottles are reasonably priced and often come with fun designs that appeal to children.

In our lab tests of double strollers, we evaluate various factors to determine how simple an item is to use, including how easy it is to set up and fold and adjust the safety harness, close and open the brakes, raise and carry the stroller like you would put it into a car trunk, and also install and remove the infant car seat (if appropriate). We also evaluated the durability and strength and also whether each product has a parent tray which can be used by both children.

The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program due to its user-friendliness. It also received the highest score in our most recent guide to the best double strollers. Its simple-to-use design features a one-hand, no-tilt recline and a canopy that rotates forward for shade and has ventilation mesh that is visible when it's tilted, individual child trays that have built-in cup holders, zipper pockets for parents as well as a huge storage basket.
