World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade lets players boost an item's gear rating up to 700 points and give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you take them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to benefit from their unique stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while others like weapons do not vary greatly post upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. They also have a flat bonus which increases the damage they deal per second. Many weapons also come with a fixed bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a group. This bonus may be greater than the damage a weapon upgrade alone can cause.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For example, an +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it needs a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons can also alter the stats of their base. This is usually a positive thing, but it can also have negative effects. For items that are only used in a certain build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance), upgrading them may render them useless unless you have an extremely fortunate roll.

The ability to upgrade armor items to increase their performance. For example, if you upgrade a helm or chest, this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may reroll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon displays the new stats it will get when upgraded and their respective values. This means that a weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will be hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circling arrows in the item menu. This will roll the item and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference to your survival. Certain sets offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poison fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to navigate difficult areas. Generally speaking, the more defense your character has the more value you get from each point of health therefore it is important to improve your armor as much as you can.

To improve your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game and in order to unlock each fountain, you must complete an additional quest that involves the Stable Trotters. Once you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels and the amount of materials and Rupees required for each level will differ. You'll need anywhere from three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. For example the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep up with a large group of adversaries in most cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, granting you enough protection to survive a full on raid with a few of your friends.

You can't upgrade armor like weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is best to focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical strength or spell power. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you wear for the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town in Gerudo Town, you can unlock perks for your armor. Generally, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be beneficial to have a few improvements to the helmets and chest armor that permit you to sneak past some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquid substances that, if consumed, give the player the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five types of potions with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to improve their level of effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be obtained through crafting them on a table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades is dependent on the kind of potion you wish to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level as well as its rarity.

To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. item upgrading will open an GUI that allows you to choose the potion that you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll provide when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total XP you have.

When a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade in the event that you make use of it again or break the bottle in which it is stored. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the mechanics of potions. Splash potions for instance are now available with a time of that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display for the item. The table for potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be used in cauldrons. Similarly, using a potion in a cauldron that is full drains the potion and replenishes the bottle.

There are also simmering potions that are made using dragon breath and splash potions. In the same way, a lingering potion can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. The potion table is rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added like the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an ornament or object that serves a function but is not important, like a trinket. In certain cultures, trinkets are used to symbolize affection or friendship, particularly between family members.

Players can upgrade trinkets as well as weapons, armor, and potions. These can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Trinkets, unlike other items that can be upgraded, can be swapped at will without losing stats.

The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, and in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrading a trinket is an affordable alternative to buying a new one. It can be done by players for just 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the old trinket but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

When the old Trinkets are no longer usable they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value with time. They can also be traded between players and are a popular alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most important items first. This usually means the best-in-slot items for their class, then their secondary items and finally, other gear items that they won't replace soon (for example rings or cloaks). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. For instance If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks it is recommended that they upgrade their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and helm.

Once they have become useless, trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional 1percent bonus. However, a re-upgrade will destroy the old trinket, unless it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than purchasing new ones.
