It's important to remember that this will increase the weight of the armor, therefore it must be heavier.<br /><br />There are several different types of armor upgrade available in the game. Each one has a distinct impact. For instance, some upgrades will grant the armor a certain amount of health points while others will make it stronger and lighter. The type of armor upgrade that an item can receive will be indicated by the name of the upgrade, as shown in the table below.<br /><br />Certain upgrades require magic or a hybrid technology and magic, which is identified by the "Magic" and "Hybrids" entries in the table. They can be purchased from the Trading Post, or crafted by jewelers.<br /><br />The first trinket that a player will be able to unlock is the cloak. It provides a tiny but valuable boost in movement speed and the ability to escape. Then, they can get amulets, rings, and necklaces in a similar manner to the way a player acquires weapons and armor. Every piece of equipment has an upgrade slot which can be universal or jewel. Universal upgrades provide smaller bonuses and can be used in any type of equipment, while jewelry cannot be changed or upgraded, and is only compatible with specific types of trinkets.<br /><br />These trinkets also grant additional buffs and skills that remain active even when the character is not fighting. This lets a hero become more efficient even when not in combat.
