The Band Toto Asia

Toto was expanding its production facilities overseas and doing business in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the People's Republic of China. Toto considered North America as a growth market for Washlet's bidets and toilets, as opposed to its "base" markets of Japan and China.

Dhaniram Toto was recording Toto words to ensure that the next generation could read them. Many words were substituted with foreign ones. For instance dui, which is Bengali for verandah, was used.

Origins

The early history of Toto that began in 1917, was a reflection of Japan's rapid economic growth. In the early years of its existence, the company made products to meet the demands of modern, contemporary urban housing. It was the first tunnel kiln in the country to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use automation to control production, which allows for more efficiency and consistency.

In the latter half of the 1980s, the company began to expand overseas to benefit from sales and new markets. The company founded the Cera Trading Company to import and distribute other manufacturers' products in order to complement its own range of sanitary earthenwares and plumbing fittings. This strategy boosted sales and increased the firm's market share in the world.

In the 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus on research and development for household appliances that are water-related. It also improved its distribution system to better serve its customers and increase profit. The company implemented a just-in-time approach to supply chain management and used the same methodology for its sales process. This resulted in a higher degree of customer satisfaction.

Toto has continued to innovate in the toilet technology. The latest toilet, for instance is equipped with an extremely powerful tornado flush that is more ecologically friendly than conventional toilets. The company uses recycled water in its manufacturing process and has a green purchasing policy. Apart from toilets, Toto manufactures bathtubs and faucets and hand dryers that are more energy efficient than standard models.

The company's first museum opened in 2015 and features exhibits about Toto's iconic products and their evolution and its group companies (all having to do with ceramics) as well as the history of plumbing and products like bath units, and in a separate gallery, Toto products sold around the world. The museum also has a bathroom that features a WASHLET toilet as well as other toilet-related innovations.

Before the formation of Toto the members of the band did sessions for many musicians. Keyboardist David Paich, drummer Jeff Porcaro and guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather all played on the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. They also performed on albums by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.

Discography

With a name as evocative as Asia you'd expect the group to be prog queens and kings but they're actually a fairly straightforward rock band. The group began as a quartet and recorded two albums: 1979's self titled debut, and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. The group has a wide musical background but their biggest success came in 1982 with Toto IV.

The album was a major blockbuster but not without its difficulties. The record companies put the band under pressure to release the top single or they would rescind the album. Toto was able to achieve this with the help from the smash hit "Africa."

Toto's musical mastery is the result of their previous experiences. Before joining the group, members worked as session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their distinctive sound has become the standard for 1980s music, and has inspired a lot of contemporary artists.

The album begins hard with songs like Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to create great AOR tunes that slowly get into your head. The album also has some slower, more jazzy tracks, like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album ends with Great Expectations. This song mixes folk and the distorted AOR which could appear completely unnatural, but actually works extremely well.

After Toto IV The band's fortunes took a turn for the worse. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career, and the band went through various drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the group due to drug charges. The band remained with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.

Toto released Isolation despite the turmoil. It was not as well-liked as IV. The group managed to release an album that was chart-topping, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. This album marked the end of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new vocalist.

Tours

The band has entertained millions of fans across the globe, and has sold out shows in Europe, North America and Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand. The band has a huge repertoire, and its catalog has been heard more than one billion times on streaming services across the world. The band's music has inspired numerous generations of fans.

Steve Lukather and Joe Williams have forged a deep colorful friendship that is thriving professionally on a worldwide basis. In 2018 the duo celebrated their 40th anniversary of Tours Around the Sun with a massively successful tour across the globe. The album of the same title ranked 5 on the Billboard 200. The latest tour of the band features their most popular hits rare live deep-cuts, and some songs that come from Lukather's and Williams individual catalogs.

TOTO has a customer satisfaction rating of 20 according to its Net Promoter Score which measures how likely customers are to recommend the brand. Promoters are people who give a good score to the company and encourage others to use its products and services. Detractors are those who judge the company poorly, and might even actively dissuade people from using their products or services.

Join Toto to experience a unique cultural encounter in Asia. This highlights tour features luxurious accommodation, a cruise on the most luxurious cruise ship on Halong Bay and an exploration of Angkor Wat, a mystical temple that was once the home of the French called Indochine. Also, you will spend one night in the charming city of Luang Prabang. This UNESCO World Heritage City is a feast for the senses. This is a trip that you won't wish to miss!

Line-up

The album's third, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet arrangement of previous albums and was a stronger, more consistent effort that had an edge that was more pronounced than Hydra. The more edgy sound of the album was a reflection of the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's increased virtuosity on drums, and an improved, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. Keyboardist David Paich's work was more precise, sharper and less cloying than earlier performances.

After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live performance in Amsterdam that was released as a set of two CDs called Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. A new studio album was released just a few months later and the group went on an extensive world tour in support of it. In this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.

In 1998, Paich & Lukather began looking through old tapes and demos to discover songs that had never been recorded prior to. The album was released as a double album titled Then & Now in 2001. It was the first album by the band without a single song titled "A". The album also contained an previously unreleased track called "Kari-Anne".

By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure and the vocalist Williams suffered from a bad laryngitis infection which hampered his singing. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming was replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.

Downes along with the other original members of Asia - Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in early 2006 to discuss the possibility of restructuring the band. The lineup, with the exception of Howe who was busy with Yes at the period, was later renamed Toto XIV. They toured extensively.

In 토토사이트 모음 , the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also had a special appearance by singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
