World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade option allows players to boost the gear rating of an item by up 700 points and also give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to benefit from their unique stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not change significantly after an upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to increase their numeric stats like crit chance, attack damage PvE and damage to PvP. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. A lot of weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are placed in a group. item upgrade may exceed the damage a weapon upgrade alone can do.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity and current level. For instance an item with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrades to weapons can also alter the stats of the base. This is usually a positive aspect, but it may also have negative effects. For items that are only used in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs, for instance) upgrading them can make them unusable unless you get a lucky roll.

Armor items can also be upgraded to improve their performance. This can boost the base defense of a chest or helm as well as belts and gloves. These will boost their required strength and agility. Armor also offers a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it could roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain when upgrading, along with the values of these stats. This means that the weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by arrows that circle in the item menu. This will reroll the item and alter its stats however, it will not reset the weapon's level nor tie it to the account status.

Armor

Adding a few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive increases in poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, making the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. The more defense your character is, the more value you get out of each point of health you possess, so it's important to improve your armor as much as you can.

To upgrade your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four fountains in all each of which requires you to complete a special side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels, and the amount of material and Rupees required for each will vary. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade the next one. The Champion Leathers, for example can be upgraded to a +5 defense rating, which will allow you to remain competitive in frigid environments with a large number of foes. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense so that you're able to survive a battle with your comrades.

You can't upgrade your armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is best to focus on upgrading your armor for physical strength or spell power. You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you will still be wearing at the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town in Gerudo Town, you can gain some benefits to your armor. Generally, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer However, it is useful to have a few upgrades of the chest armor and helmets that allow you to stealth around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, give a temporary effect. There are five kinds of potions with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount of XP. This can be obtained by crafting them on a craft table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion used and the item's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI that allows you to select the potions that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll provide when upgraded. The upgrade of potions can be completed in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP total.

Once a potion is upgraded, it won't degrade until you use it again, or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change its name.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the mechanism of potions. For example the splash potions now have the duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display for the item). The table of potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. The same is true for using a potion in an empty cauldron. This will deplete the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions, which are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can be added to lingering potions to extend their effect. The table of potion ingredients is now arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as potion of leaping, decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is a small and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an ornament or object that serves a purpose, but is not important as a thimble. In some cultures, a trinket can be used to show affection or friendship between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons, armor, and potions. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. As with other upgrades to items trinkets, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to purchasing a new trinket. It can be done by players for just 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the previous trinket but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Trinkets can be upgraded when the old ones are not needed which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are first upgraded then their secondary gear, and then other equipment that they will not replace anytime soon (such as a ring or an cloak). When choosing the items to upgrade, players should also consider the preferred statistics of their class. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player and they want to upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher ilvl once they're no longer needed, and the new trinket will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1. item upgrader -upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it can be saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than purchasing a new one.
