French Door Fridge With Ice Maker

In contrast to standard refrigerators, French door fridges fit flush with kitchen counters for an attractive look. This slim design saves space for the freezer.

Hernandez suggests that you check the exact dimensions before purchasing to ensure it's a good fit for your home. Be sure to leave enough space for ventilation from all sides and that the doors can open fully without hitting the cabinets or blocking the hallway.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Bosch is a premium brand with a reputation for high-end refrigerators. Their counter-depth French door models sit flush with your countertops to give them an integrated look. The fridges are quiet and efficient and come with the smart-home feature which lets you control the fridge using your smartphone or tablet. The fridge also offers plenty of storage space to store your groceries and leftovers. This model comes with an automatic ice maker. It makes fresh, filtered ice. It's also user-friendly. The dispensers for ice and water are located within the refrigerator, not on the front. This way they don't ruin the sleek exterior. The dispensers work with any cold beverage such as juice and sports drinks. This refrigerator has a durable stainless steel finish that withstands scratches and dents. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're concerned about smudges on your surfaces, you can use a cleaner that gets rid of fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

This refrigerator comes with a large interior space of 20.5 cubic feet. It also has Bosch's exclusive farmfresh system that has four cutting-edge freshness technology that ensure that fruits, vegetables and leftovers fresh up to three times longer than the average. The temperature of the freezer is near perfect, with temperatures never varying more than a fraction of one degree from the ideal.

The Bosch refrigerator costs more than the GE Appliances version, but it comes with more features. french style fridge freezer is worth the extra expense. It has a door-indoor storage area, which allows you to store a small amount of food in a bin that fits directly into the fridge's door and also has a convertible drawer with five temperature settings that are designed to hold different kinds of beverages food items, snacks, meat and wine. The Bosch fridge has a smart home feature called Home Connect which lets you control it remotely using your smartphone or tablet.

The only drawbacks to this refrigerator are its flimsy main drawer and the difficult-to-use main door latch to the right. The fridge is a great option for kitchenettes as well as single families that require more space than a French door refrigerator can offer. The stainless steel accents any kitchen beautifully.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

LG counter-depth refrigerators have a lot of storage into small footprints. They're also priced more affordably than many standard-depth French door refrigerators and remove the need for a separate smaller under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView Counter-Depth Refrigerator (LMWC23626S), which offers the capacity of a standard fridge in modern and sleek design, isn't any different. It also features an internal dispenser that provides easy access to filtered drinking water.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins have plenty of space and the top shelf can be folded down to create a half depth shelf to accommodate taller items. The bottom of the refrigerator has a set of crisper drawers, while the deli drawer that is full width is perfect for meat or fresh produce.

The refrigerator is equipped with a recessed Icemaker that is located on the back wall. This saves space and lets you store more bags of ice. The refrigerator is equipped with door-cooling that makes use of vents in the doors of the fridge and freezer to bring cold air into the refrigerator. It helps prevent hot spots and keeps temperatures more uniform throughout the fridge.

This LG refrigerator was a standout during our tests. It provides plenty of space to serve a family, but we did notice a few irritating issues. First the freezer drawers do not remain as cold as we'd like. The middle drawer was 41 degrees during our highest usage test, which is warm enough to serve ice cream and other frozen items. The temperature in the rest of your freezer remained at around 36 degrees.

Another issue is that refrigerator doors have handles that are sunken on the inside and beneath which makes it difficult for people who are shorter to comfortably close them. It may seem like a minor issue, but we prefer front-mounted handles on fridges so they're simpler to open and close.

The fridge is expensive, but it's worth it for anyone who wants an ultra-modern appearance in their kitchen. This fridge is recommended for those looking to upgrade their fridge or are building new homes and want a seamless look in the kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The RF23M8090SG is Samsung's latest and most stylish counter-depth French door refrigerator, priced at $4,200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also does well in our cooling tests, although we're not too fond of its polygon handles that are gimmicky and the bins that are crisper appear a bit fragile.

One thing that makes the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line, which lets you customize your fridge by removing colored panels that can be swapped out when you're tired of the current ones. There are 11 different colors that range from soft pastels to brighter hues and four metallic finishes. These panels can be personalized to include photos or text. This makes the fridge more personal and can be matched to your Rick Owens dress, Andy Warhol banana neon or tie-dye Crocs.

You can even change the color of the fridge's LED lighting, which is a nice touch. The interior of the fridge has an intelligent finish that reduces the appearance of smudges and makes cleaning easier. The only real flaws of the RF23M8090SG is its crowded beverage center, and a little learning curve to access the door-indoor feature that houses a water dispenser as well as a pitcher. You need to feel for the lever located on the underside halfway down the door. Once you have it, the second door opens up inside the fridge, which houses the pitcher docking station and the water dispenser.

The 6.8 cubic-foot freezer compartment is large enough to store a wide range of frozen foods, and it features an amazing slide-out drawer system that allows you to access the food item you're looking for without opening the whole compartment. The freezer also features an open-air compartment that can be used for storing small items and a large capacity storage drawer to store larger quantities of frozen food. This drawer is locked with a password, so that any unwanted guests are kept out. It also comes with an LED that lets you see what's inside at a glance. The freezer's also able to monitor energy consumption and help you cut your energy bill by using the smart-enabled SmartThings Energy mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators are a wonderful addition to any kitchen. They look neat and are a great fit for all sizes of rooms. If you're looking for the convenience of this design without the extra height, a counter-depth fridge is the way to go. We've tested many of them, and this Frigidaire model has a higher than average score in our ratings due to its low cost and thoughtful features like an adjustable temperature drawer.

It also has some irritating issues. Our test data indicates that the FGHB2866PF is able to warm up quite some in the freezer, and can be uncomfortable warm in the fridge's innermost shelving. This is evident in our heat maps which show how internal temperatures vary from minute to minute. The orange area in the upper right, which represents the butter bin, is particularly warm for most of our time of testing. It might not appear too bad at first glance, but it means the fridge is spending a significant portion of its time above 33 degrees.

It's also worth mentioning that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model, which could be a consideration for certain buyers. The issue is that the fridge isn't the best. It's not equipped with the latest features and a durable construction which makes it difficult to recommend it over more expensive options at this price point.

In many ways, this Frigidaire is a stainless-steel version of a fridge that you might see in your local appliance store. It's a great choice, with a brushed-finish that looks attractive and is impervious to scratches. However it's not able to differentiate itself from competitors who are more feature rich and less expensive.

If you're looking for a counter-depth French-door fridge, but don't want spend much, the FGHC2331PF could be worth looking into. It's got enough storage for many families, and does a decent job keeping food fresh. Even even if it's not a green unit, it's still much less expensive than our best-rated models.
