Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for a different one of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item for example, increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next success is being rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on item upgrades to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at once. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be added in addition to an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades are no longer available for it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with a discount.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.

Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
