Lightest Double Stroller

If you're looking for a light double stroller, weight and folded dimensions are important factors to take into consideration. Picking one that is easy to handle and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to place in the trunk of your car and navigate through airport gates and foreign streets.

The most lightweight strollers have an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanism to reduce stress on parent bodies. Many also come with a wide selection of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

Created for families on the move. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. The front suspension and all-terrain wheels as well as the multi-position reclining seats allow for children to weigh up to 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids, large storage basket, and a 3-tiered canopy with the peekaboo window offer maximum sun protection.

The Cloud received one of the lowest marks in our tests of quality because it has a flimsy seat made of hard plastic and a design that is dated. It's also expensive compared to other lightweight strollers which is why it's not the best choice if you're looking for a low-cost option.

Although it's not the lightest double stroller, it comes with enough features that are worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it can jump curbs with minimal effort unlike other light strollers that diverge when trying to accomplish the similar thing. The Cloud's low, nearly knee-high handle is a downside. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's not easy to push it while your legs are hanging in that way. The lack of padding makes it even more difficult.

During our testing, we discovered the Cloud to be simple to open and set up. It's a bit more complicated to close the cloud, however. You have to slide a slider and then press a large white button to get it to collapse. This can be frustrating especially if you're trying to manage kids while doing it.

The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that can accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. It's a bit narrow, though it's likely that you'll need to put something in it to reach the back to get it back. The Cloud includes a child and parent tray with two cup holders each however they're too narrow to comfortably hold larger cups or bottles.

The Kolcraft brand has been in operation since 1946 and is a third-generation family-owned business. Their first products included diapers and crib pads however, they now make various baby items including highchairs and infant car seats, strollers and toys. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist style that's perfect for trips. It's light at 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to transport and store. It also comes with independently reclined seats, as well as large SPF50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. It also has a one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-sized certified.

The swivel wheel feature of Jeep is also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. The stroller does not accept car seats, so your little ones must be 6+ months old and have good neck control to ride in the front seat. It does come with an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, though each seat comes with its own snack tray, as well as parent cupholders.

Another stroller that is extremely light is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's slim and narrow (26.5 inches wide!) It's packed with exquisite details that make it perfect for travel. It folds easily, very maneuverable, and is easily able to fit in overhead compartments as well as trunks of airplanes.

Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold, ultralight double stroller. It's similar to Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key distinctions. It's also a bit more expensive, but it offers more maneuverability and an extra sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+

If you're seeking a stroller which is light in weight but also packed with features, look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at only 13 pounds but also comes with a ton of storage, including cup holders for the parent and child and a sippy-cup bag for the child and a parent's storage pouch and more. This stroller can also be used with a child's chair and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that is easily engaged. It's designed to evolve with your children from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months of age and up.

The stroller is swivel-wheel only and no locking capability which means it won't be the best choice for rocky or steep terrain. It's still a good choice for families of all sizes, since it is able to be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.

This is one of the most compact and lightweight double strollers with full-size features. It folds by one hand and then stored in the garage or trunk. It can also be used as a travel stoller, and is compatible with no additional adapters to most car seats.

The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is unique from other lightweight travel strollers because it has two distinct seats that can each hold up to 100 pounds. The seats have a recline in multiple positions, individual leg rests, and three-panel canopies with flip-out sunvisors and windows that peek out.

The seats are padded for your little one's comfort and come with a padded 5-point safety harness that adjusts to three height positions. Each seat comes with an infant cushion that is perfect for babies. The cup holders for parent and child, the phone holder and the large storage basket will be adored by parents. The stroller can also be outfitted with the Yoyo+ Board, which transforms it into a tandem stroller.

Joovy Kooper X2

The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents seeking an easy-to-use double stroller that can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable and offer a similar amount of headroom, which allows children to sit together. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is an ideal spot to nap. The recline mechanism is simple to operate, but it doesn't go completely flat. Children who are taller may find that they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in the reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy which we found to be superior in blocking out the sun than other strollers in our best double strollers review.

The stroller is light enough to move through door frames which was a major issue for us with other strollers we tested. It is easy to fold and the handlebars sit close to the ground. Its only drawback is its small storage space. When it is full of kids' stuff it can feel squeezed.

Joovy is a family-owned business is a pioneer in the design of functional, innovative and high-quality baby products. Their range includes innovative bottles that we have reviewed in our best baby bottle review, intriguing strollers like the Joovy Zoom X2 Double and a unique rain cover that is compatible with a variety of popular strollers. The products are affordable and usually have appealing designs that appeal to children.

During our lab tests of double strollers, our team has evaluated multiple factors to determine how simple the stroller is to use, including how easy it is to fold and set up, adjust the safety harness as well as close and open the brakes, raise and carry the stroller as if placing it in a trunk of a car, and also install and remove an infant car seat (if necessary). We also evaluated the durability and strength of each model, as well as whether it has an adult tray that can hold both children tray.

The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the highest score for ease of use in our most recent update of our top double strollers guide, and also one of the highest scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its easy-to use design includes one-hand, non-tilt recline as well as an enormous canopy with ventilation mesh that is visible even when it is tilted. There are also separate tray for kids, cup holders built-in and pockets with zippers for parents, and a large storage basket.
