Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your home as well as set up cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad as it moves from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The number of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The high price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's real highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It also comes with an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. Additionally, its mops aren't as adept at removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. robot vacuum www.robotvacuummops.uk must be cleaned out as well as the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, are required to be replaced on a regular basis too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can buy, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself which makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this can be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that this device maps or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like all Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a neat manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for those who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
