The certificate is valid for five years and must be added to the driver's license category C or C+E. It is also possible to add it to C1 or C1E licences which permits the driver to drive lighter trailer combinations.<br /><br />To obtain a Code 95 certificate, you must undergo a medical exam and pass the psychotest. After you have completed the course, you will receive the plastic Code 95 Certificate that can be inserted in your driving license. The cost of the course includes a medical exam, PKZ service and payment for the plastic Code 95 Certificate.<br /><br />The cost of the Code 95 Certificate is the same as other types of driving lessons. It is also important to remember that the course must be offered at a CBR-approved driving school. Trainers must adhere to strict CBR guidelines. Trainers must immediately inform the CBR when, for instance students are absent.<br /><br />The student then has to visit the Road Traffic Safety Directorate and apply for the renewal of their license. The deadline for renewing the licence is six months from the date that the course was completed. These tests can be taken on their own, or as part of the acquisition of a basic category licence at a driving school. On successful completion of the test, you'll receive a certificate as well as a code 95 certificate. The card is valid only for five years and must be renewed by the expiration date.<br /><br />You can choose between either a short or a lengthy course for the code 95 exam, according to the training program. The long course is about four weeks and concludes with a government exam. You must also undergo an exam for medical conditions.<br /><br />You must also have a driving licence C or D for buses and passenger cars. The requirements for bus drivers differ than truck drivers in that they must pass a written exam and an oral exam. In addition, they must be able to show a code 85 which is a certificate proving their professionalism.<br /><br />Requirements<br /><br />This is a mandatory step for truckers wanting to work in the Netherlands. It is valid for five years. The theoretical training consists of classroom instruction and online learning. The online learning part is conducted through a specific website. You can attend classes from any location and at any time. The theoretical part takes a total of 35 academic classes. You will also be able to take online tests as well as check tasks.<br /><br />If you wish to transport dangerous goods you must take a separate ADR driver training course (18-hours). This will award you a five-year ADR driver's training certificate. This is mandatory for all professional drivers of vehicles that carry dangerous items.<br /><br />In 2011, a new design of licence for trucks as well as buses was introduced.
