Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our cleaning tests and tackling a variety of floor types. Choose models that allow users to select between different modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Check for an application that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and swung up when it reached carpets or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning needs. robotvacuummops boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.

This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled whenever required. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung up on the small rug or area mats I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by defining a virtual boundary within the app). Mopping capabilities are very good, with a pair spinning mop pads that are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station as required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender on our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It is able to move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge space between obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.

The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a reliable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

Robot vacuums are fantastic at removing dirt and debris but they're not able to get all dust. It is important to clean regularly, once a week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has an aluminum body.

Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 has the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also has a clever app that lets you select your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any issues with high-pile carpets or area rug, but it was unable to remove kitty litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. It also collects dust in a larger bin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot is able to detect carpets, and increase suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
