Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its most significant breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of the object it comes across so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills effortlessly leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.

The design is also better than the other models. It has a sleek, high-end piece that looks like toys rather than the loud and annoying robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System is also self-emptying which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. And all this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

The j7+, though not as intelligent as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is still an option for those who want both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the ideal choice. This type of robot typically includes a built-in water tank, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. They also have a range of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but usually lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent option for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a problem where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is easy. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, but it can help to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are among the top available however, it's also expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. But the station's main selling factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's the few robot vacuums I've tested that do very well at cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a dock that can create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts within the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price tag.

However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many other great choices on the market with a wide range of eufy models for significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive however it comes with more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums with the right combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at an affordable price point. It's simple to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock close to a power outlet and enough space for it to move around, however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The most important characteristic that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It will return to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower cost of operation. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with an array of boundaries that restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
