Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt) and wet messes (spills, stains) in one session without the need to switch out devices. They also can save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacle avoidance. Find models that automatically empty their bin and fill up their water tank, and wash their mopping pads from the dock that is specifically designed for them.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean, full dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in no time.

The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that cleans up a mess and is a great vacuum cleaner too. remote hoover are spun at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a selection of attachments and brushes, and an intuitive app that lets you choose the exact kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.

For instance, you can request the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to detect small obstacles that other models can't. The only problem is that it tends to crash into objects and walls at full speed. However looking at the history of cleaning in the app will show you exactly what the robot has completed, where it's going, and which obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.

The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that shows when maintenance is needed, such as emptying debris and rinsing the dirty water tank. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank by itself by using a 600ml eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop is able to run for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in normal mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. And you can see the complete cleaning details within the app, which is well laid out and easily understood although we would have liked to be able to distinguish between a mop only vacuum and a vacuum/mop clean when examining a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's top robot mop and vacuum. In contrast to the model of last year it comes with a double agitator in its mopping pad which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity which allows it to pull up smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners could miss.

As with the other two Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to can help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another surface. It is able to change its course automatically and clean the objects without stumbling.

best inexpensive robot vacuum 's the most expensive model I've tried however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek angular design is eye catching, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which restarts the cleaning process, a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home-button that can take the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid, you will find 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin auto-refills.

The only downside I found to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if it's required) but it's a challenge to remove the mount itself to wash manually. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and that can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and configure these features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to plan cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. It's a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with cutting-edge features, high suction power, and advanced mowing capabilities. Its intelligent design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while reducing time.

The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum removes the dry mess, which includes pet hair and crumbs. It also comes with a top-quality mop that makes hard floors spotlessly clean, even with a wet pad. The X40 is also very quiet when in operation with only occasional bursts during mode changes or self-maintenance.

Another standout characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush, which lets it get into difficult-to-access corners as well as clean furniture, such as tables and chair legs. The robot can also reach under furniture that is low-profile, making it an excellent option for apartments with small spaces or condos. The side brush automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots, which is a nice addition that assists the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by repeated back-andforth movements.

Contrary to other robots, which are limited to one task, the X40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, and vice versa. It can be controlled via the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.

The app is intuitive and simple to use and the X40's clever features are simple to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, see floor plans and mapping and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.

The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous features that make it a great choice for busy families. The docking station will automatically empty the dustbin, and clean the mop pads, then refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It can also tell when the mop pad is full and notify you before it gets overflowing, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. best inexpensive robot vacuum has several features that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature in its mops, uses two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and smaller dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.

The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station every time they are used. This is a fantastic feature because it prevents the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. This is a feature that we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.

There's a wealth of settings on offer that include the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and adjust a variety of preferences. The app lets you define these preferences, or you can use the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers a variety of options for customising your cleaning routine. It also has several features that aren't offered on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.

The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks sophisticated and classy. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this list, but it's still not a lot of weight. It is solid and well-built. Mopping is well-designed, and the double rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
