Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robotic vacuum-mop is an ideal choice for those who live in apartments as it has smaller docking systems and carries its own rubbish bin. The application lets you set up different modes and monitor cleaning. The mopping feature is also very impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and the mops are stunning. It is able to pick up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties, cleans itself, and refills its tank.

iRobot Roomba Combination

The iRobot Combo is an iRobot that can mop and vacuum. It's not quite enough to take the place of our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which is more efficient and has an app for mobile that is simpler to use but it does make an excellent choice. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all kinds and sizes from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance may not be as advanced as other systems like LiDAR or structured light, but it is able to avoid most collisions.

The Combo includes the majority of the same functions as the j7 Plus, including new onboard acoustic sensors to determine the floor's type and AI-powered navigation, however it lacks the ability to set suction power manually. It's also less compact than its vac-only model, and doesn't come with self-empty docks.

The Combo is one of my top choices for homes with a lot of space. Its sleek design is also one of the best I've seen in the market. The matte black finish is more elegant than the metallic or glossy finishes of many competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as the leather tab that opens the bin on board, and a shelf to hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo also makes it easy to create maps of your home, as well as to create Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.

Roborock

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market however, it has already made its mark thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning technologies. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, while its mopping systems use vibrating mops to keep floors of dust. Additionally, a variety of mapping and scheduling options lets you adjust the bot's cleaning schedule for your home's specific needs.

Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature allows the robot to spot objects that are lower than its own height. This is especially useful for Roborock's top models, such as the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind in terms of navigation, due to the combination of vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other Robovacs are often seen to crash into furniture and slam into pet faeces, without even noticing but the Qrevo Master solves this issue with a Reactive AI system that uses twin cameras to perceive objects in a room.

Roborock robots are also equipped with several convenience features that help reduce the need for daily maintenance, such as docks that can automatically empty themselves and multi-functional mop washing stations. These features eliminate the need to empty bins and wash mops manually, allowing for a truly hands free ownership experience. Plus the app's simple design and seamless connection to the robot makes it easy to use.

Hobot Legee D8

Hobot Legee, with its extensive range of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping capabilities, is among the top robot vacuums/mops available for both dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five different technologies to plan and execute a route that is the most efficient. It also detects various flooring materials and obstacles with precision. It can even raise its own 7mm to glide over carpets. The smart spray system uses the appropriate amount of water to remove stains without leaving unsightly water marks.

The Legee is an Gen 4 Robot, competes directly against the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. made a post cost more. It has more features, including a flexible D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more efficiently than the round version. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass, and Encoder) four forward-facing sensors, one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two pairs of cliff detectors front and back (most robots only have one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM to reduce the bump-and-grind problems that plague Gen 4 robots.

The Legee is different from other robots in that it comes with a trash compactor and operates on the quieter 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The LuLu mop wash station is included and washes, refills and dries your mop's 'cloth. This means that you can use it up to six times longer than with other mop cloths. It also cuts down on waste and frequency of emptying the bin.

Karcher RCV 5

Karcher, known for its pressure washers and gardening tools, has been dabbling with robot vacuums for some time. This is the most advanced model from the brand. It creates maps for your home with LiDAR, and can be programmed either to mop or vacuum. It can also distinguish between hard floors and carpets to ensure that you don't end up with the dreaded puddles on your carpet.

Its navigation is excellent, avoiding furniture or rugs easily. It can even raise itself over steps. The robot can be customized with a variety of settings, including cleaning schedules and which rooms it must be cleaning. It also has an emergency button that can force the robot to return to base in the event that it is unable to supply power, and it can be programmed to automatically turn off when a storm is approaching.

The RCV 5 is easy to use and, while hefty at nearly 4kg, it's not too difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Those with small children will appreciate the safety features such as sensors that warn you to avoid steps. After being charged, the device takes only a few hours to charge, and the two buttons at the top will flash in green to indicate that it is ready for use.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a robot that blends modern technology with affordability. It's a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its less expensive price, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that other models cannot compete with. It makes use of sensors to alter its settings to suit different surfaces and floors, as well as detect areas that are more prone to dirt and ensure they are given enough attention. It can also move at a slower pace to prevent the destruction of furniture and walls.

You can also view the map of your house in the app. You can also mark areas and objects that you'd like the vacuum to stay clear from. The vacuum will slow down when it detects an obstruction and will avoid bumping into it. It is also equipped with a smart dustbin that alerts you when it's full, so that you can empty it on time.

The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective option for those who want to delegate their daily cleaning tasks. It's a robotic mop and vacuum that can clean your floors without having to lift a finger. It has a clever design that improves cleaning at corners by up to 60%. It has up to 7,000 Pa of suction power as well as RoboSwing arms. It can be controlled using the app or voice assistants, such as Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko RCV3 is a stylish and feature-packed hybrid robot vac/mop that does a bang up job of keeping floors clean and span. Although it isn't able to raise its mops to carpets or rugs like the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors and taking on damp mopping duties with impressive speed. It has a self emptying bin, a high degree of suction, a range of mopping options, and a premium application that runs on iOS and Android.

It's a bit smaller than many of the competition, and its main brush is smaller than others, but it managed to make short work of our test area effortlessly. The edge brush that revolves on the side is a great addition. Although it wasn't able to remove dirt as well as some of the competitors, it did a good job.

Cleaning parameters can be set for each room, and the robot will create detailed maps of the rooms by using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The app is easy to use and offers an array of options for voice output that can keep you informed of the status of your robot. Regular updates to the software can improve and extend its performance. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're away from home.
