Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1, combines two of the most important baby items: strollers and infant car seats. It makes hopping off and on public transport (and walking up and down steps) much more convenient.

Doona's infant car seat and stroller combination is a great choice. It's the world's first completely integrated travel system that allows you to switch between the car seat and stroller in seconds without disturbing your sleeping baby.

Easy to Use

Car seat and stroller combos that are simple to use are essential for parents. These systems allow you to switch between running errands or walking the dog, or taking a run. You can also keep track of the changing requirements of your child so that you can have fun with your family adventures. Our testers are impressed by how smoothly and conveniently these travel systems move, regardless of whether they feature one front wheel or a rotating front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are particularly easy to maneuver however, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be moved effortlessly with just one hand.

Some models are difficult to attach or remove from the base. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps which cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It may be tempting to skip these steps, but this could lead to unsafe outcomes.

In the same way, some models are difficult to fold away and store and store away, making them less convenient than others. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and heavy frame. Some users have also found the canopy of this model to be unsatisfactory. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold, with only the push of a button and pulling the lever. This model is also a great option for parents who plan to use their car seat on other people's vehicles as it can be quickly detached from the base and reattached to any standard stroller.

Easy to Fold

It should be easy to fold and unfold the car seat, regardless of whether you're storing it in your trunk or the closet. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily with just one hand and are durable enough to use on long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, gliding effortlessly over uneven surfaces and bumps. Some combos are connected and removed using straps. This could feel like a second step and make it more difficult for parents to secure their car seat properly.

We are awestruck by the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo for its handy features and sturdy construction that include a huge storage basket that can be accessed from the front to back. SafeCenter LATCH, an exclusive feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, makes it easy to install a car seat by connecting the lower anchors and pulling the straps tight.

It's also light and compact, making it a great option for families and frequent travelers who have multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo, and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored high in our user-friendliness tests. Both have a single wheel that is simple to push with one hand. Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a versatile spinner wheel, ideal for running errands and shopping. The only downside is that they're heavy and therefore it can be difficult to lift them up when you're carrying children in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combinations are difficult to put together. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together, and it comes with a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this system together an easy task. Other models we looked at like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide 2, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also easy to assemble. However, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to assemble because it requires two steps to assemble - attaching the lower anchors and using straps to cover the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it takes two hands to secure the carrier into the base and then remove it from the base.

In our tests it took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together, which is relatively quick when you consider the time is saved by not having to take out the pieces. Push Chairs & Prams of these models come with a simple process for attaching and detaching the toddler's seat, but there are other options as well.
