Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now is the time. CNET's top-rated models will be available during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to detect objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, so that you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills easily leaving no trace it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.

Its design is a step above the competition and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It even managed to capture sand and small gravel that other robots couldn't do. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The j7+, while not as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and isn't able to clean the stairs, is still an option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum. robot vacuum Robot Vacuum Mops 's not costly and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell whether the update is working until you see it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best choice. These robots come with a water tank, so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also come with a variety of extra features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're expensive at full retail but often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model. While it doesn't have certain features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with the buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas or alter your home map, or change the room's label.

If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also has a large LCD display which is great to have when you're setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't essential for most people but it can help effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are among the top available - but it's also pricey.

Its base station looks good and is easily hidden when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It can store dirty and clean water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's the only robovac that I've tried that does well at picking up dirt from floors that aren't. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It's not able navigate stairs as well as some competitors, and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't have the same amount of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the premium price price.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpet flooring, and mopping functions at an affordable price. It's simple to set up, simply connect one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock must be located near an outlet and have plenty of room to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more modest than other models, and features sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The main aspect that makes the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished floors or low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand, is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be empty as often and it's less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
