This is a short block of text. No problems.
This block of text is a bit longer. I expect the voice to read for about 15 seconds and then it will suddenly cut out as if someone turned down the volume. This is only happening in Chrome on Windows, not in Edge or Firefox, and not on Chrome on a Mac. I am not 100% sure, but I think this used to work fine in previous versions.
In addition, while making this test I noticed that I am unable to play even the first paragraph after the voice cuts out without closing all browser tabs and re-opening the page.
To be clear about when the speech cuts out, for me it is happening in the text "100%" above, but I don't think this is related to the special "%" character.
