WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. A random substat is also increased with each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be visited at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

upgrade item Cases gg will cost more, based on the item level, however, they are always cheaper than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items which can be used to level up weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They are purchased by players through NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which displays an item's preview at its next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and the current item level, with weapons costing more than gloves or bracers, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item is upgraded to a certain level and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items in addition to the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon and the possibility of obtaining the latest recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players finish certain achievements or quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II, there is no item upgrader available at the start of Icewind Dale. Instead the NPCs that can be used to upgrade are acquired via several methods which is both an improvement but also a drawback.

In Season 3 the upgrade system has been modified a bit, and numerous new features added. Once a player has upgraded to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level will cost less. This applies even if those items come from another set of equipment.

The discount applies to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is also cut and is not available until players reach certain milestones in their achievement.

Crests

Players have a number of options for upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more special and are used for specific level upgrades for items. Crests are an important part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System, which was introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The first thing to be aware of is that crests are only able to be used to purchase equipment of a particular rank, and every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complex may require as many as 20 crests depending on the type of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can obtain crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and performing outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, dungeons or raids of all difficulty for items of higher tier or Mythic+ dungeons or heroic raid bosses for endgame gear. These crests can then be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it will bring some changes to the process of upgrading. For instance, when a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible level on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another important modification is that crests have one purpose and it's crucial to use them properly. It is best to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The account-wide discount will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
